| The Group consists of three privately held companies registered with the name 3E(HK) Ltd, 3E Switches Industries Ltd and Wing Shun Metal Factory. Within the three, Wing Shun has the longest history and was founded in 1982. 3E(HK) Ltd and 3E Switches joined in during 1991 to enlarge its business territory. An off-territories factory was also built during the same period of time. Wing Shun has been engaged in the manufacture of custom-made metal parts, as well as supplying various vital component parts for 3E's lamp holders and switches. Wing Shun's metal parts are also distributed to different parts of the world with the US as one of its major markets and Phillips Consumer Communication as one of its major customers. 3E(HK) Ltd and 3E switches are principally engaged in the manufacture of lamp holders and switches for home appliances. Majority of 3E products have recognized approvals such as VDE, TUV, UL, C-UL and are distributed to different parts of the world with focus on Europe. To broaden the channel of distribution, the company has also granted exclusive rights to a sole distributor in Spain to market 3E products in Europe. The Group wholly owns a manufacturing plant, the Sam Shun Metal & Electronics Factory in Shenzhen, China. It has the ISO 9002 quality system certificate since June 1997. Occupying an area of 20,000 square meters, the factory employs over 600 workers, of which 60 are technicians and management staffs with most of them having over 10 years of relevent working experience.
